Travelling from Rose Bay in Sydney Harbour, or from our northern seaplane base at Palm Beach, arrive in style at the very popular and charming Cottage Point Inn restaurant situated on a broad reach of the magnificent Hawkesbury river, surrounded by the peaceful, untouched Australian bushland of the Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park. (If you fly from Palm Beach we travel down over the Opera House before heading north to the Hawkesbury. At the end of the day we fly you directly to Palm Beach.)

The Cottage Point Inn is open 7 days for lunch and their philosophy is to provide honest, modern Australian style cuisine served in a professional, welcoming atmosphere. Step from the seaplane on to the restaurant’s private dock to be warmly greeted by the Inn’s friendly staff. We will make the table reservation for you and flights usually commence late morning, early afternoon and depart from the restaurant about three hours later. Your return scenic flight concludes with a double orbit at the Opera House and Harbour Bridge to complete a truly special day of flying and dining in this superb environment.

Open Friday to Sunday for lunch and only accessible by water, the Berowra Waters Inn is a “destination dining experience”. Our seaplane service departs Rose Bay or our private base at Palm Beach late morning/early afternoon. The flight to Berowra is the most stunning of all our seaplane experiences. Enjoy the beauty of our famous Beaches and unspoilt Ku-ring-gai National Park to arrive gently on the Hawkesbury River where you will step from the aircraft into this award winning restaurant. Spend the next 3 hours enjoying Chef/Owner Deitmar Sawyere’s splendid degustation-style tasting menu. We will make the table reservation for you. Less than 20 minutes flying time from Rose Bay in Sydney Harbour is Palm Beach. Arrive in style at our seaplane base at Barrenjoey. Things to enjoy include a choice of outstanding cafes and restaurants, a walk to the top of Barrenjoey Headland and its historic lighthouse, swim at one of the world’s great surfing beaches and the tranquillity of magnificent Pittwater.
During your 3 hour stay try any of the great cafes and restaurants for lunch or just stroll on the beaches here at “Summer Bay”. Longer stays are sometimes available – please call Jenny to discuss options.

Suggestions for lunch:
The extremely popular (licensed) Boathouse Palm Beach is located at our seaplane base at Barrenjoey. Sit on the deck overlooking Pittwater with a cold drink and enjoy the exciting and creative meals on offer. The signature fish and chips or squid should not be missed! The Boathouse does not take reservations however the wait for a table is more than worth it!
Dunes restaurant is a 5 minute walk from our base, as is the well established Beach Road restaurant. Both offer a relaxed beachside atmosphere where you can sit down to a fabulous three course meal, or just a snack and cocktail.

Our seaplane base is located at the northern tip of the Palm Beach golf course. In addition to the Boathouse cafe there is a boat hire business here where you can rent a party boat or tinny for a few hours. The golf club welcomes visitors, has equipment for hire and the clubhouse serves great meals and very cold beers.

Our flight back to Rose Bay concludes with a double orbit at the Opera House and Harbour Bridge – the culmination of a relaxing, fun-filled day in the most beautiful, unspoilt setting in Sydney. Beautiful Palm Beach.

Departing Rose Bay this stunning flight takes you via Manly to follow the famous Northern Beaches - arriving in style on Pittwater, at our private seaplane base. We arrange the short shuttle to and from the restaurant which is situated on the cliffs overlooking Whale Beach. We will make the table reservation for you and our flights usually depart late morning/early afternoon. This award-winning restaurant offers excellent Southern European cuisine. Time at the restaurant is between 2 ½ and 3 hours. Your return scenic flight concludes with a double orbit at the Opera House and Harbour Bridge completing a “five star” day out in beautiful Sydney.

BEACH PICNIC

Price: $850 per couple

Fly from Rose Bay out through Sydney Heads and northwards along the fabulous Beaches and dramatic headlands to Palm Beach. Your stay at the beach will be approximately 3 hours. Bring your swimmers, towels and sun screen, and if it is forecast to be a very hot day, some extra water perhaps. We supply a beach blanket, the picnic hamper, cold drinks and a bottle of fine Australian wine. Most special food requirements can be accommodated. Your gourmet picnic is catered by the kitchen at the fabulous “Boathouse Palm Beach”.

We return you to Sydney Harbour on a fabulous scenic flight that concludes with a double orbit at the Bridge and Opera House.

Note from Steve, your pilot: "Please note that we do not advertise a 'secluded' beach. It is almost impossible to find a secluded beach in Sydney and surrounds. We can take you to a little beach on the western side of Pittwater, however, I usually suggest that you disembark at Palm Beach where you will have the full surf beach - a couple of kilometres of sand and surf - to find a special spot, or you have the option of the calm beach on the Pittwater side. If that doesn't suit, there are many nooks and crannies amongst the rocks and sand of the Barrenjoey Headland or take a walk up to the lighthouse where you will have fabulous views of the Hawkesbury River mouth, the southern end of the Central Coast, the Tasman Sea (Pacific Ocean) as well as Pittwater to the city.
